Yoga Studios

Can be beautiful places, but nothing really compares with the feeling of doing yoga alone. Once you have experience with a few different poses, releasing yourself from the student-teacher relationship can be a wonderful feeling. You don’t struggle to think of which pose to do next; the poses flow through you without thought, and you come away with the same accomplishments as you would in any studio. :] And you can still say “Namaste”, even if you are the only one to hear it.

“The word enlightenment conjures up the idea of some superhuman accomplishment, and the ego likes to keep it that way, but it is simply your natural state of felt oneness with Being. It is a state of connectedness with something immeasurable and indestructible, something that, almost paradoxically, is essentially you and yet is much greater than you. It is finding your true nature beyond name and form.” ~ Eckhart Tolle

"The primary cause of unhappiness is not the situation, but your thoughts about it. Be aware of the thoughts you are thinking. Separate them from the situation, which is always neutral, which always is as it is."

"Death is a stripping away of all that is not you. The secret of life is to “die before you die” —- and find that there is no death."
